Floor and ceiling tracks fixed, studs placed and plumbed, with backing where heavy items will hang.

Gypsum board fixed to both sides, with insulation in the cavity where specified.
- 04Joint and finish
Joints taped and compounded, sanded smooth and handed over ready for paint or wallpaper.

Why gypsum partitions instead of blockwork
Gypsum partitions are non-load-bearing walls, so they suit interior layouts rather than structure. They are much lighter than block walls, go up faster, run cleaner on site and leave a flat surface ready for paint. Services such as electrical conduits can run inside the cavity.
Plan for heavy fixtures

What are gypsum partitions used for?
They divide offices, create bedrooms and rooms in villas and apartments, box in columns and services, and form feature walls. With the right boards and insulation they can also provide acoustic or fire-rated separation.
Can you mount a TV or cabinets on a gypsum partition?
Yes, if the partition is reinforced at that point. We fix timber or metal backing inside the frame before boarding, so plan the positions of heavy items in advance.
Are gypsum partitions suitable for bathrooms?
Yes, using moisture-resistant boards and proper waterproofing behind tiles in wet zones.
What affects the cost of a gypsum partition?
The wall area and height, the stud size, the number of board layers, whether moisture-resistant, acoustic or fire-rated boards are needed, openings for doors, and the finish level. A site visit lets us quote accurately.
